Classic Norway's hotels are located within short distances of each other, and it is just 150 km, or a 2 1/2 hour drive, between the outer locations.  The logistics and infrastructure in the area are extremely good, and you will be able to reach your destination rapidly and efficiently by car, bus, train, plane, ferry and chartered boat. 

You will also receive an extra bonus because you will be travelling constantly through really exciting areas where you will experience mountains, valleys, fjords and the sea.  In addition, you will see world-famous sights such as: the Troll's Ladder, the Troll's Wall, the Rauma Tourist Railway, Geiranger Fjord and the Atlantic Road, just to mention a few.

We also enjoy the unique privilege of having three main airports in our area: Vigra Airport in Ålesund, Molde Airport in Molde and Kvernberget Airport in Kristiansund.
 

How to find us

Four great ways to reach Geiranger. You can reach Geiranger either by land or by sea.

  1. The road from Gudbrandsdalen through Ottadalen goes over snowcapped mountains to Grotli. The last part of your journey from Djupvatnet to Geirangerfjorden takes you to through one of Norway's greatest Fjord Views. Placed in the mountainside along Geirangerveien is Hotell Utsikten.
  2. The spectacular Ørneveien is the gateway from Ålesund, Molde or Kristiandsund, which is also a part of "The Golden Route" from Åndalsnes over Trollstigen.
  3. The ferrytrip between Valldal and Geiranger is one of Norway's longest and most beautiful ferrytrips.
  4. The Ferry from Geiranger to Hellesylt is more than just the average ferry!
Along the fjord you meet fantastic waterfalls; De syv søstre, Friaren and Brudesløret, old deserted farms in a breathtaking environment.
